Why We Started This

Take Your Stones Back began with a growing frustration; a holy dissatisfaction with the role men are playing in the church and in culture as many stand passively by and watch the retreat from the Biblical values that were once held high. Having been a pastor for the last 20+ years, I have watched men give up more and more of their responsibility while women rise up and take charge. I have watched as our culture—from the work place to our schools to our homes—has drifted further and further from the original values and principles on which this country was founded.

This men’s movement is a call to abandon the direction in which our culture is going and come back to a genuine, deep faith in God who has already designed men to be the leaders and guardians for our culture.

We are engaged in much more than a cultural war; we are engaged in a spiritual war! We must have men who are confident in their God, convinced of their faith and committed to stand up for it. These men will be the warriors that will engage in the battle rather than stand passively by.
